Great day out at St Senans Open Sports

With lots of club athletes, Coaches and Parents a great day was had by all at one of the most successful and competitive open sports in many years in Kilmacow.

Many medals were won and great performances were had throughout the events including throws, jumps as well as sprints and distance runs. Also, great action was witnessed in the relays with some great team work bringing great success.

Much thanks is due to coaches on the day Cait Caulfield, Olivia Flynn, David Murphy, Brian Scanlon and Brendan Reidy who made sure athletes got to their events in time and sorted the hard job of relay selection and preparation. Cait also managed to squeeze in acting as an official too. Thanks also to the many parents who helped out in many way.

NEXT DATE FOR THE DIARY....County championshios at the RSC on Mat 8th and 15th with events for all. Lets make it another great day for the club!

Lost & Found

As the summer track season has begone and the gear changes from winter clothing to nice summer gear (we hope) would all members please check if by chance they have jackets, spikes or any gear that is not theirs and pass on to the coaches or leave at the Desk at the RSC.

An extra jacket taken home from training perhaps or pair of spikes and all of a sudden you have more gear than you thought..or spikes that are too small. Why not let the coaches know of spikes that are surplus to requirements and we could keep a supply of some pairs for the younger athletes coming through.

An ipod was misplaced at the RSC on Easter Sunday at the Track..If anyone saw it and maybe gave it to someone to pass on could you contact 087 6481599.

St Senans Easter Monday sports today at 1pm. Meeting at Kilmacow at 12:30 for full program of events.
