A great day was had by all who travelled to Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle, Co. Roscommon on Sunday last with the boys U17 (pictured above) coming away with the silver Club medal.

Great performances were also had by Hugo Blair, David McGlynn, Luke O'Brien, Jamie McCarthy and Fergus O'Brien in the boys U11, Megan Carroll, Emma O'Brien, Louise Reidy and Rachel Heery in the Girls U13, Conor Quinn in the boys U13, Nicole Rowe and Saoirse casey Power in the girls U15 and Niamh Tebay who narrowly missed out on an individual medal in the U17 girls race.

Well done to all and thanks to parents Steven Blair, Trish Quinn, Ciaran and Susan Rowe who travelled on the bus and of course Dylan Rowe as our number 1 supporter who also travelled on the day. Coaches Albert, Malachy and Tom were also on hand to keep things in order and after a lovely meal sponsored by the cub all agreed the day was an enjoyable day out and a useful exercise...and the few medals were a real bonus: well done lads!
